Method Frameworks
Method is the advanced development division of Five Land Bikes - a company founded in 2017 that is the trusted prototyping and manufacturing partner to some of the industry’s most respected bike companies.
Method is where we get to push ourselves and design the frames we want to ride ourselves, making use of all the cumulative knowledge that we have gained from over a decade of hands on making. It lets people get hold of frames that we have built in our workshop directly from us.
We are rider owned and run and 100% independent.
Our location at the foot of the Pentland Hills near Edinburgh, the world class riding of the Tweed Valley nearby and our harsh Scottish winters give us an advantage in creating functional, capable bikes that thrive in the toughest conditions.

A bit about us
We manufacture frames to the highest possible standard making use of the best quality materials and our years of experience as designers and fabricators.
Originally product designers, we got our start as frame fabricators at Shand Cycles in 2013. We (Matt and Callum) started the B2B manufacturing company Five Land Bikes four years later. Since then we have been lucky enough to build for lots of brands that are great at what they do and are committed to supporting UK manufacturing.
All our Method frames are designed, tested, fabricated and finished by the team in our Edinburgh workshop. Looking after every aspect of the manufacturing process means we can prototype faster, learn harder and ensure the highest level of workmanship which ultimately means better bikes.
Our bikes are made to be fun, hassle free and long lasting. We wanted to make bikes that are easy to live with so you’ll see external cable routing, threaded BB shells, plenty of scope to carry bottles or kit and proper corrosion protection.

Steel and Titanium Specialists
Building steel and titanium frames is what we do best. We are trained designers and fabricators that are obsessive about quality and every detail has been carefully considered - this means you end up with a top class bike that works when you need it to and lets you focus on riding and the trail ahead.
Method is a small team of skilled fabricators, welders, painters and finishers that take pride in what they do. We’ve spent a long time perfecting the techniques that allow us to reliably build frames you can trust.
